Weaning

Weaning scared me. Allergies, choking, the mess 🤣

Belle is now 3 months into her weaning journey and we are yet to find a flavour she does not like.

We have tried a combination approach to it. Half Baby Led and complimented with pouches. Starting with broccoli and carrot she will now happily sit and eat a plate of peas one by one.

It’s a new flavour kind of day šŸ˜

BabyLedFood has kindly gifted us some of their amazing Baby Led Spreads and today we introduced Belle to Raspberry and Beetroot.

At first she was unsure of the new flavour but half a pot and three wafers down she was digging into the pot to get more 🤣

So far I’m loving them. Working with the owner has been a delight. Learning about how the business started and knowing their daughter is involved in the process makes collaborations much more special.

In terms of the spreads themselves here is some information. This is the raspberry and beetroot dairy free spread. When this product says low sugar it means it! The average across the range is 1.5g per serving. The standard ones you see in supermarkets can be as high as 12g per serving. The spreads are all made from healthy ingredients, with no added salt, preservatives or anything that could be considered ā€˜unnatural’.

Plus let’s talk value for money. You can order these online and get 18 jars for Ā£15. Less that Ā£1 a jar for a completely natural product! Each pot contains enough for 2 sandwiches or lots of wafers. Belle can vouch for that šŸ˜

This is a great product and I will be sharing more of their flavours soon
